Fun fact: Tamworth's is a heritage breed that is a slower grower producing a dark marbled meat that is distictivly flavorful, tender and juicy. They produce excellent bacon with a rich flavor. Cooking with their rendered lard, takes cooking to a whole other level!

Fun fact: Turkeys have a bad reputation for being "dumb" we always mix our day old turkeys with day old chicks and say old ducklings sometimes keets as well. They all learn from each other. Turkeys are curious and friendly. The male (papa) comes for walks in the forest with us and greets every visitor that stops by the farm. They are spectacular foragers.
